Scholarship Recipient Testimonies

"Receiving the Cakie Scholarship was one of the most life-changing events for me. Prior to being awarded this scholarship, I was uncertain about how I would financially manage college. I wasn’t sure about many things, but I knew I wanted to attend a technical college. After receiving the scholarship and meeting everyone involved, I saw how impactful a community can be. Ms. Graham Fleming introduced me to several individuals who helped guide me through this new chapter. While the fear of the unknown was intimidating, feeling the support surrounding me gave me the motivation to strive harder. Now, I can proudly say that I have earned an associate's degree in mathematics by the age of 21. Along with that, I’ve learned about the many opportunities that this degree now offers me.

I am living proof that their promises hold true and extend even further than expected. Thank you, M.O.S.T Outreach and the Cakie Scholarship!"
